The Budding Beta’s program was unlike anything I have tried to gain a sense of community in this new world for me. Being 19 and recently diagnosed, I was lost and felt alone in my story; little did I know, there are so many other amazing T1D warriors out there who took me in and appreciated what I was feeling! Leah is a life saver. In fact, the whole BlondeType1 team is! They did such a great job of providing a welcoming environment. Budding Betas is a great resource where you can share experiences, thoughts, and ideas, as well as learn the ins and outs of T1D from others who have dealt with it for quite some time.
